Where to find documents
On the application detail page, scroll to the Documents section. Here you will find links to all the documents that were submitted with the planning application. These typically include the application form, site location plan, existing and proposed floor plans, elevation drawings, and supporting statements.
Types of documents
Different documents serve different purposes in assessing the opportunity:
- Site location plan: Shows the property location and surrounding area.
- Block plan: Shows the property boundaries and proposed works in context.
- Floor plans: Show the internal layout before and after the proposed work.
- Elevation drawings: Show the external appearance of the proposed work.
- Design statement: Explains the rationale for the proposed work.
- Supporting documents: May include structural calculations or heritage statements.
Review the documents before visiting the property or creating a proposal. The plans and drawings will give you a much clearer picture of the scope of work than the description alone.
